Our company was just accepted; what should I expect?
Our email lists are sent out every week. You will receive them each Monday afternoon. For holidays, we send it out the following business day. Every list will contain a manageable number of active engineers. We will occasionally include resumes more than once, depending on the level of interest.
I’m interested in a candidate; what should I do?
We include the contact information of every candidate. Please reach out directly. You should mention MLTL in your outreach. To limit the amount of spam, please do not send multiple emails or add the candidate to an outreach campaign. Unfortunately, if there is no response, it means there is no interest. Any startup violating this will be removed from our network. If you feel the need to reach out multiple times to an initial unanswered email, please reach out to us, and we will try to be an intermediary.
We need to hire a product manager, designer, engineering manager, etc. Can I expect or request that those candidates be added to the list?
Our specialty is highlighting mid-sr engineers working in ML and MLops. If we find exciting candidates outside that profile we might add them to the list. We are also open to adding adjacent roles, but can’t make promises that we have the bandwidth to do so.
We need to hire outside of the NY and SF. Can you help?
As of now, we are only highlighting candidates that are local to SF/NY or fully remote. We have plans to expand into other markets. If you would like us to start a list for your city, please reach out!.
I see an interesting candidate, but they look better for a non-ML role/team. Can I still reach out?
Every candidate featured has a deep interest in the ML space. We ask our startup partners to use their best judgment when matching a candidate to a role. We will try to include the candidate’s role preferences along with their resume. Please do your best to factor in their interests.
